Gastroenterology Associates is excited to announce the opening of a new Clinical Research Department.
This department is under the leadership of Dr. Suzy Kim, and staffed with experienced team members trained in gathering and evaluating medical data. All studies are conducted in strict accordance with FDA and GCP (Good Clinical Practice) guidelines and are closely monitored throughout each study. Their hope is to help current patients, along with future generations, by providing possible options in GI-related healthcare from their research. They are currently conducting clinical trials in the areas of inflammatory bowel diseases and biotechnology, with the plan to offer future research studies in other GI areas.
As in all other areas of our practice, our Clinical Research Department values each of our study participants and appreciates their willingness and commitment to help us further medical research together. We would like to take this opportunity to thank each of our past and current clinical trial participants and to encourage others who may be considering participation in one of our research studies to contact our office at 864-232-7338.
Our clinical research department is currently conducting research on:
- Crohn's Disease
- Ulcerative Colitis
- Iron Deficiency Anemia
- Non-Interventional Registries
- Education Mentorships with the Gastrointestinal Health Foundation
