Alexia received her Master's degree in human nutrition from Winthrop University and is an Associate of the Ellyn Satter Institute. She is a food allergy specialist dietitian that also specializes in eating and feeding disturbances. Her dietetic practice focuses on eating competence and helping clients find food that nourishes their bodies while making them happy and keeping them symptom free. She serves on committees of several professional organizations to promote food allergy awareness and education among dietitians and physicians.
Alexia enjoys sharing her free time with her husband and three children. You can often find them on the beaches of the South Carolina lowcountry involved with various marine conservation activities or on a sailboat.
