Dr. Vallabh is originally from southeastern Kentucky. He began his college career at the University of Kentucky where he graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry. He then received his doctorate of medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. He returned to Kentucky to complete his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. He then did a fellowship in Clinical Nutrition at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at West Virginia University where he served as Chief Fellow.
Dr. Vallabh is board-certified in Gastroenterology. His particular professional interests includes: GERD, Barrett’s Esophagus, Esophageal Cancer Prevention, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis) and Colon Cancer Prevention.
He is fluent in both English and Gujarati. When Dr. Vallabh is not working, he enjoys time with his wife and two children, traveling and Kentucky basketball.
