Dr. Katelyn Madigan is originally from a small town near Rochester, MN. She completed undergraduate and medical school in Minnesota before moving down to the Carolinas with her husband for additional training. While visiting Greenville, they were struck by the genuinely warm and welcoming community, outdoor activities for families, and incredible food — so they decided to make it home.
Dr. Madigan is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and she is also a member of the American Gastroenterology Association. Dr. Madigan has a strong interest in all facets of general gastroenterology and hepatology — particularly women’s health, motility, and the role of the microbiome in disease processes.
In her free time, Dr. Madigan enjoys discovering new cuisines, experimenting in the kitchen, staying active through hiking and yoga, diving into a good book, traveling, and cherishing time with her husband and their twins.
