After more than 27 years of devoted service, Dr. J. William Holt will retire from Gastroenterology Associates. His unswerving determination to help his patients is a rare commodity.
Dear Valued Patient,
I am writing to inform you that, after much contemplation and reflection, I have made the decision to retire effective Friday, August 30, 2024. Caring for you has been the most rewarding part of my 27-year career with Gastroenterology Associates.
It has been an incredible journey serving as a Gastroenterologist for the past 27 years, and I am immensely grateful for all the rewarding experiences and relationships I have built throughout my career. The trust and support I have received from each of you has been invaluable. So, it is with mixed emotions that I announce my retirement.
You are in excellent hands at Gastroenterology Associates. I feel very confident in my partners’ abilities to take care of your gastrointestinal needs. However, should you decide to go elsewhere for your care, we will do whatever we can to assist you.
To ensure your transition of care is as smooth as possible, here is a list of options for you to consider:
- Remain with Gastroenterology Associates and transition your care to another provider with Gastroenterology Associates. We have several new additions to our physician team. Dr. Abdehou, Dr. Horton, Dr. Vitorsky and Dr. Kovalic are all accepting new patients and would be glad to care for you.
- Transfer care to another gastroenterology practice outside Gastroenterology Associates. If you wish to transfer your care to a different practice, we will do our best to make that process as seamless as possible for you. A copy of your medical records can be sent directly to your new practice or released directly to you, upon request. Visit www.gastroassociates.com to complete a medical records release.
Thank you for the opportunity to care for you. I have valued our relationship greatly.
Best wishes for your future health.
Sincerely,
Dr. J. William Holt
