Dr. Scott Farley is proud to call Greenville home — and always has been. Born and raised in the Upstate, he completed his undergraduate Pre-Med studies at Bob Jones University in 2016 before earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine – Greenville in 2020. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2023, then returned to Greenville to pursue his Gastroenterology fellowship at Prisma Health, which he completed in 2026.

Dr. Farley’s passion for GI medicine stems from the unique combination it offers: meaningful, ongoing relationships with patients alongside a rich procedural practice. He is drawn to the breadth of the specialty — spanning multiple organ systems and a wide variety of disease processes — and finds particular fulfillment in the cancer prevention that colonoscopy and early detection make possible. His clinical approach is that of a GI generalist, committed to providing comprehensive, accessible care for the full spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Farley is most likely chasing after his four young children. Whether they’re at the park, the pool, or a Saturday soccer game, family time is at the center of his life. He and his family are deeply rooted in the Greenville community, where both his and his wife’s extended families reside. In quieter moments, he enjoys reading.
