Dr. Barnes made me feel at ease before my procedure and answered all my questions and did not make me feel like a number or that he was in a rush to get to his next patient. The nurses kept me informed of what was and would be going on before, during and after my procedure. Loved the staff, doctor and how easy the process and procedures were. Everyone clearly let you know what was happening. But if you are one who wants your loved one near it's not the facility. My husband was not allowed to be with me (they finally did let him back when I was having extreme anxiety over the issue) for that reason only I will be seeking another facility next time.

Medical Phone Calls

A nurse is available to help answer questions Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and on Friday from 8:00 AM – 12:00 noon. When you call, please give the receptionist your name, date of birth, Social Security number, phone number and a brief message. The nurse will make every effort to respond within 24 hours. Please allow two weeks from the date of your procedure before calling the office for radiology or pathology results. A nurse will contact you if your results require an urgent response. If you have an urgent medical condition, please notify the receptionist so that your call can be handled properly.

Emergencies After Office Hours

For emergencies occurring after office hours, please call the office at (864) 232-7338. The answering service will take your call and give the information to the doctor. If your call has not been returned within one hour, notify the answering service that you have not received a return call.

Urgent Medical Attention

If you need immediate medical attention, call 911 for assistance.

Get a timely medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment from a

Gastroenterologist who will listen.
